Disability Care (GHZ)

CleVR brings Virtual Reality to disability care with scientifically supported applications for treatment, guidance, and training. In our safe and realistic VR environments, participants practice social behavior, emotion regulation, and dealing with risk situations in a way that aligns with their own lived experience.

Our VR modules have been developed for and with the disability care sector, with special attention to people with mild intellectual disabilities (MID), addiction problems, and a forensic background. Proven programs within disability care include:

VRAPT-ID – a VR treatment that helps reduce aggression in people with MID by practicing the recognition and regulation of anger in realistic situations.

GroVR – a virtual training program in which participants learn to deal with aggression and tense moments, with an emphasis on self-control and reflection.

InterAction – a VR program that supports young people with a developmental language disorder (DLD) in strengthening social-emotional skills and communication.

CleVR works together with organizations such as Ipse de Bruggen, Kentalis, Amarant, and Odion on practical and scientifically supported VR solutions that seamlessly align with everyday care practice.

CleVR in disability care: realistic, safe, and effective. Technology that helps people grow.
